The Potato Camembert Wheel

print recipe

SEND THIS IMMEDIATELY TO THAT FRIEND WHO ALWAYS ORDERS THE CAMEMBERT STARTER. Or better yet, make them this baby and be their favourite person forever and always.

Something that has become a bit of a recurring theme with my recipes is my inability to give them sensible names. This is the Potato Camembert Wheel because it kinda slightly resembles a wheel? Maybe? Dunno. Please DM me suggestions because this is not my strong point. Swiftly moving on…

This is the easiest recipe going and an absolute crowd pleaser because it’s just so shareable. I mean you won’t wanna share but the options there if you’re feeling generous. You can either pull apart the crispy potato pieces and get dipping or serve up with crusty bread, pickles, meats and other savoury dippables for this charceuterie inspired centrepiece. It’s pretty to look at but it does get a bit messy. Grab your napkins babs.

This dish was actually inspired by @sonny_loves_charlie so definitely go check it out!

Now, if cheese and potatoes are your thing, you NEED to try my tartiflette. We all love a tart. Or if you want the cheesiest, stringiest, OTT mashed potato, you will love my take on Aligot. This version includes cheeses you can find locally as the traditional recipes requires sourcing cheese from France and unless you’re planning on taking a trip, my version is the next best thing.
